Seeking Experienced OB/GYN Nurses Interested in Nursing Education
The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is currently seeking an Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Instructor for our Houston Northwest Campus.
We are specifically looking for experienced Registered Nurses with strong OB/GYN, Women’s Health, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, or Mother/Baby backgrounds who are passionate about mentoring and educating the next generation of nurses.
This is an excellent opportunity for nurses looking to transition from bedside care into education while continuing to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.
Responsibilities
•
Deliver classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical instruction to ADN students
•
Mentor and support nursing students throughout the program
•
Promote professionalism, patient safety, and critical thinking skills
•
Maintain current knowledge and clinical expertise in OB/GYN and nursing practice
•
Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
Qualifications
•
Current Texas RN License required
•
Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree preferred, ideally in Nursing (MSN)
•
If Master’s Degree is in another discipline, candidate must possess:
•
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
•
Minimum of six (6) graduate nursing credit hours
•
Strong OB/GYN or Women’s Health clinical background required
•
Passion for teaching and student success
