Lake Tahoe, Ice Cream Server (Summer 2026)

POSITION SUMMARY

Located in Tahoe Vista. Customer-facing food service role in which the primary responsibility is to serve ice cream and related desserts while maintaining a friendly, efficient, and professional service environment. The job requires strong interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

JOB TASKS (include but are not limited to)

• Completing opening and closing duties timely and thoroughly
• Provide service that is detailed, attentive and efficient
• Checking accuracy and quality of food delivered
• Sufficient knowledge of food menu and food allergies
• Using proper serving techniques
• Present on the floor during hours of food service
• Support the team
• Ability to multitask while working efficiently and fast-paced
• Attention to detail: lights, thoroughness, cleanliness, safety, etc.
• Provide warm hospitality, professional advice and assistance to all patrons
• Be informed
• Keep customer satisfaction in mind when making all decisions
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Martis Camp standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the Club
• Comply at all times with Martis Camp standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient Club operations
• Perform other duties as required by your manager

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must be open to occasional overtime in peak periods
• Must be able to stand/walk for 4-6 hours at a time and 8-10 hours total per shift
• Must be able to safely carry up to 30lbs
• Must be able to repeatedly reach/bend/kneel/pull/push to assist with product storage, cleaning duties and food and beverage maintenance.

WAGE AND BENEFITS

• Hourly wage of $18.00 /hour
