  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and three (3) years of experience in manufacturing engineering or machining environments within the Medical Devices Industry.
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English
  • Soft Skills: Excellent teamwork skills
  • Shift: Administrative, and according to business needs.
  • Experience in:
  • CNC programming
  • CMM programming
  • Lean or cost‑saving initiatives
  • Validations
  • Interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and process specifications

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Optimize machining parameters to improve cycle time, tool life, and part quality.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues including tool wear, dimensional deviations, and machine capability.
  • Support fixture design, tool selection, and machining process documentation.
  • Perform first article inspections, capability studies, and dimensional analysis.
  • Develop validation protocols for equipment, processes, and tooling.
  • Execute Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) activities.
  • Document results, deviations, and corrective actions in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Support risk assessments, FMEA updates, and process control plans.
  • Lead or support cost‑saving initiatives aligned with annual targets.
  • Identify opportunities in cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, tooling optimization, and process automation.
  • Develop business cases, savings calculations, and implementation plans.
  • Track progress and report result to leadership .
