Position Overview: GMEA Electrical Services is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to oversee a large warehouse project in Castle Rock, CO. This role requires a strong on-site presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage all aspects of the project from early phases through completion. These projects typically start at a slower pace and ramp up quickly, so adaptability and strong organizational skills are key.

Because of the scale, pace, and coordination required on a project like this, prior construction experience is essential. This role involves real-time decision-making, managing multiple trades, and understanding how work in the field actually gets executed. A candidate without hands-on construction knowledge will struggle to keep up with the demands, timelines, and problem-solving required to successfully deliver this type of project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the project on-site for GMEA Electrical Services
  • Be present on-site whenever GMEA crews are working
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Lead and participate in meetings, confidently representing GMEA Electrical Services independently
  • Maintain clear and professional communication through emails and reports
  • Track project progress, schedules, and budgets
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep the project on track
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

Requirements

  • Prior construction management experience ( required )
  • Open to traveling nationwide ( required )
  • Electrical experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), especially in a client-facing environment
  • Professional and confident in meetings with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work extended hours (approximately 60 hours/week) as project demands increase throughout peak
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that scales quickly
