Glen Park Senior Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to assist our residents in daily living activities, creating a supportive, healthy environment where they can thrive. Bilingual Spanish a PLUS!

The Caregiver provides non-medical personal care and supervision to residents in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). The role supports residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting dignity, safety, and independence in compliance with California Title 22 regulations.

• Personal Care Assistance
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide incontinence care
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility devices
• Support residents with eating and hydration
• Medication Assistance (per Title 22)
• Assist with self-administration of medications
• Document medication assistance accurately
• Observe and report side effects or medication concerns
• Follow facility medication policies and physician orders Note: Caregivers in RCFEs do not perform skilled nursing tasks unless separately licensed (e.g., LVN/RN).
• Supervision & Safety
• Provide continuous supervision as required by resident care plans
• Monitor for fall risks and behavioral changes
• Respond promptly to emergencies
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate daily care logs
• Report changes in condition to supervisor or administrator
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines
• Social & Emotional Support
• Provide companionship and emotional reassurance
• Encourage participation in planned activities
• Support residents’ independence and quality of life Minimum Qualifications (California-Specific)
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Clear criminal background check (DOJ & FBI Live Scan)
• TB clearance Skills & Competencies
• Compassion, patience, and professionalism
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow care plans and state regulations
• Physical stamina and safe lifting techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements
• Lift and transfer residents (25–50+ lbs)
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach frequently Work Environment
• Licensed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
• May include evenings, weekends, overnight, and holiday shifts
• Fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and attention to detail
• Bilingual Spanish a PLUS!

Schedule: 2:30pm - 11pm Sunday-Monday
