Title of Position Parks Department - Summer Parks Laborer Salary $16.00

Schedule: 7:00am until 3:30pm July & August ends at 3pm Holidays are Not Paid Program Begins: Early Spring 2026 until End of August 2026

Summer Parks Laborer Overview Join our Parks Team as a Summer Parks Laborer Work with our Parks Crew to collect and dispose of trash and help care for turf and gardens.

Responsibilities include

• Work with our Parks Crew to collect and dispose of trash and pick up litter.
• Help care for turf and gardens
• Complies with regulations as required by local health code
• Perform other tasks as needed

Minimum Entrance Qualifications Successful applicants will

• Have the ability to work flexible hours
• Have the ability to exercise good judgement and focus on details as required by the position
• Preference given to Providence residents.
• Preference given to former Summer Parks Laborers

Note: All applicants 18 and older, will be required to complete a form for a background check, run by the Providence Police
