The Role This is a center-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) role serving children with autism with an average age range of 2-7 years, focused on early intervention, social development, and school readiness. You'll work in a collaborative clinical environment that primarily focuses on:

  • Center-based services
  • Early learners (ages 2 - 7)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct speech therapy services with clients aged 2-7 y/o
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients’ goals and needs
  • Help clients improve speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Maintain timely and accurate client records and reports
  • Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate client care
  • Educate families on strategies for managing conditions

Qualifications

  • New York State Speech and Language Pathology License
  • Experience working with children, comfortable with 2-7 y/os
  • Experience with developmental disorders and delays
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Fluent in English

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit and stand on the floor; remain at eye level with clients
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at a time
