We are seeking a Cloud Administrator who will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing cloud-based infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of cloud services while aligning with organizational and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure (virtual machines, storage solutions, and networking components)

Monitor cloud performance and troubleshoot system issues to ensure availability and reliability

Optimize cloud resource utilization to improve cost-efficiency and performance

Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption

Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support business and technical requirements

Provide technical support and resolve issues related to cloud services and infrastructure

Develop and implement automation processes to streamline cloud operations and reduce manual effort

Evaluate and recommend new cloud tools and technologies to enhance performance, security, and efficiency

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of cloud configurations, processes, and procedures

Profile

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

2–3 years of experience in cloud administration (preferably in fintech or software industry)

Strong knowledge of at least one cloud platform: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

Solid understanding of virtualization technologies

Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Strong knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, subnets, routing, load balancing, firewall configuration)

Programming skills in Python or Java

Working knowledge of cloud resource management

Understanding of cloud security principles and deployment models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Effective communication and collaboration across teams and organizational levels

Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken)
