Summary
A bit about us: We’re a high-energy, active and welcoming party of 5! We love outdoor adventures like camping, boating, skiing, and spending time together. We have 6 chickens! We value kindness, flexibility, communication, and organization. Our main priority is spending more quality time with our kids after work. We are looking for a warm, friendly, and dependable person who will become a trusted and valued part of our family team.
Our 8-year-old son (going into 3 rd grade) likes MMA, soccer, Pokémon, and Minecraft. He’s pretty hyperactive and social, but can also be quiet when he’s focused on an activity he loves.
Our 6-year-old daughter (going into 2 nd grade) loves art, reading, planning playdates, gymnastics, and soccer. She is responsible, caring and super smart.
Our 5-year-old daughter (going into kindergarten) likes gymnastics, soccer, playing with Barbies, and crafts. She’s feisty and affectionate.
A bit about you: You are organized, proactive, FUN, and genuinely enjoy working with children! You take initiative, communicate well, prefer staying active, and find fulfillment in hands-on work and organizational systems. You do not have a hard out at 7p, and can stay later when needed. If you daydream about life on a farm—or simply appreciate caring for animals, being outdoors, and helping a busy household run smoothly—you'll likely feel right at home here.
Job Duties: Household Manager responsibilities from approximately 2-6p include meal prep for simple dinners, helping children stay organized, grocery shopping, household organization, maintaining and restocking supplies, children's laundry/family laundry (optional), dishes, errands, sorting packages and putting pantry/toiletry items away, sorting children’s items for donation or seasonal use, assisting with cleaning the pool (removing leaves and brushing the sides; family will demonstrate), rotational tasks such as organizing the pantry, collect chicken eggs, and clean the chicken coop. Nanny responsibilities from approximately 6-7/7:30p include school pick-up and activity transportation, serving dinner, after-dinner kitchen tidying, supporting homework and routines, and engagement (reading, listening, games or play) with kids with minimal use of screen time.

Qualifications: Previous nanny (at least 1 previous nanny position) experience is required, and previous household management experience is preferred. Candidates must have a clean driving record, a reliable vehicle large enough for three children (eldest does not need a booster seat), valid Driver’s License, current automobile insurance, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, basic cooking skills, must be comfortable around chickens (chickens are not roaming in the yard; we have a chicken run attached to the coop), basic swim ability, willing to work with mildly ill children, willing to sign an NDA, take drug & driving screens for employment, and the ability to work independently.
Set yourself apart: Experience with household management, bilingual abilities, strong organizational systems, or a passion for teaching life skills, manners, and independence to children would be highly valued.
