Who we need

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, we are looking for a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to lead maintenance planning and scheduling activities at our Indiana facility. As the primary owner of maintenance planning and scheduling, you will play a critical role in improving equipment reliability, maximizing plant uptime, and supporting safe, efficient operations. You will ensure maintenance work is prioritized, planned, and executed effectively while partnering closely with Maintenance, Operations, and external service providers. In this role, you will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities, manage work orders in D365, oversee contractor activities, and contribute to reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.

This existing vacancy is a full-time, on-site role working Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm or 9 am to 5 pm at our Indy plant, with some flexibility to cover other shifts or weekends.

What you will do

  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities . You will manage maintenance planning and scheduling in D365, prioritize work requests, build job plans, and maintain the Master Maintenance Schedule to support safe and efficient maintenance execution.
  • Partner with stakeholders. You will work closely with Maintenance, Operations, and external service providers to align priorities, reduce downtime, and improve overall plant performance.
  • Manage contractors and compliance. You will oversee contracted services and calibration programs while ensuring compliance with GMP, food safety, and health and safety requirements.
  • Support reliability and continuous improvement. You will contribute to reliability initiatives, including root cause analysis and FMEA, while helping improve maintenance processes, documentation, and execution.
  • Monitor performance and inventory support. You will track maintenance KPIs, support CMMS data integrity, and provide backup support for maintenance parts coordination as required.

What you bring to the role

  • The experience. You have experience as a Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Scheduler, or Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment. Experience in food manufacturing or other regulated environments is an asset.
  • The technical skills. You have experience with CMMS platforms, ideally D365, and understand preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
  • The mindset. You are organized, analytical, and proactive, with the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The interpersonal skills . You communicate effectively, build strong working relationships, and collaborate successfully with cross-functional teams.
