Material Handler

Material Handler Reports to: Plant Manager Department: Logistics/Shipping FLSA Status: Non-Exempt EEO Classification: Laborer _________________________________________________________________________________________ Primary Purpose Move materials and completed racks throughout the facility and efficiently with use of carts, cranes and forklifts.

Essential Duties

• Transports material or racks to and from designated areas.
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles.
• Ensuring loads are secure.
• Moving goods packed on pallets on material carts around the facility.
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays following inventory control instructions.
• Dump materials into machine scrap hoppers.
• Perform daily equipment checks: -recharging truck battery and lubricating equipment -removing machine attachments and waste material from machines (machine operator should remove attachments and re-attach when finished charging) Minimum Experience and Qualifications Education: None required.

Experience: 1 year(s) preferred in forklift. 1 year(s) preferred in manufacturing environment.
