They are looking for a commercially minded Senior Financial Analyst to take ownership of financial control for the European entities while acting as a trusted business partner to senior leadership. This is not a traditional accounting position. Working within a shared services environment, you will focus on interpreting financial information, challenging outputs, supporting strategic decisions, and ensuring strong financial governance. Description Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership, providing commercial insight and financial advice. - Coordinate month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities. - Prepare and review journals, accruals, provisions and other accounting entries. - Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal policies and financial control frameworks. - Support statutory reporting, tax matters and external audits together with external advisors. - Deliver financial analysis, reporting and modelling to support business decision-making. - Extract and analyse financial data from ERP systems and develop meaningful business insights. - Oversee the quality of work delivered by the shared service centre and resolve issues proactively. - Partner closely with FP&A, commercial and operational stakeholders across Europe. - Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, controls and reporting. About You
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or another quantitative discipline. - Several years of experience within Financial Control, Controlling, Audit or Financial Analysis. - Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting. - Experience with month-end close, reconciliations and financial controls. - Exposure to tax, statutory reporting or audit is advantageous....
