IT Help Desk Internship

Location: On-site | Cape Fear Moto Group Reports To: IT & Information Security Manager Type: Unpaid Internship (Hands-On Learning Experience) Schedule: Flexible (Ideal for students or recent graduates)

About the Role

This internship is designed as a hands-on introduction to the real world of IT within a fast-paced automotive dealer group. You will work directly with the IT Manager and gain practical experience supporting day to day technology operations across multiple dealership locations.

This role is l earning-focused, not labor-focused. The goal is to expose you to how IT actually operates in a business environment how issues are diagnosed, how systems are managed, and how technology supports sales, service, and operations.

What You'll Learn

As an IT Help Desk Intern, you'll gain exposure to

Assisting with workstation setups and equipment deployment

Performing basic system checks and updates

Documenting common issues and solutions

Helping organize IT inventory and equipment

Shadowing troubleshooting of more advanced issues

Assisting with small IT projects as learning opportunities
