Auto Glass Installer

Laramie Auto Center

Laramie Auto Center is looking for a dependable and skilled Auto Glass Installer to join our Collision Center team. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, values safety, and is committed to providing exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities

Remove and install automotive windshields, door glass, back glass, quarter glass, and other vehicle glass components.

Properly prepare vehicle surfaces and apply adhesives according to manufacturer specifications.

Calibrate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) following windshield replacement when required or coordinate calibrations with the appropriate department.

Inspect vehicles before and after installation to ensure proper fit, function, and quality.

Protect vehicle interiors and exteriors during the installation process.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Properly maintain tools, equipment, and materials.

Communicate with the Body Shop Manager regarding parts, scheduling, and any additional repairs or damage discovered.

Work closely with body technicians, estimators, and painters to ensure timely vehicle completion.

Follow all OSHA, safety, and manufacturer guidelines.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous automotive glass installation experience preferred.

AGSC or Auto Glass Safety Council certification is a plus, but not required.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions when necessary.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain a professional attitude.
