TITLE: Dental Hygienist - Expedition Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comprehensive preventive care visits including dental cleanings and calculus removal
- Educate patients (and parents/guardians) on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations.
- Take and develop dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress in electronic health records.
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants as needed.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in dental hygiene techniques.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care.
- Uphold infection control and safety standards to create a comfortable and secure environment for patients and staff.
