About The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault finding on electrical and building services systems.
- Perform inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations in accordance with current regulations.
- Undertake minor electrical installation, refurbishment and remedial works.
- Support the maintenance of HVAC and other building services plant.
- Diagnose faults and ensure plant and equipment are maintained for maximum reliability and efficiency.
- Complete maintenance records, test sheets and inspection reports accurately.
- Carry out condition-based monitoring and defect surveys, reporting findings to engineering management.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and provide feedback to the helpdesk and customers.
- Work safely in accordance with company procedures, Safe Systems of Work and Health & Safety legislation.
- Support continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and operational excellence across the contract.
Essential Criteria
- Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent.
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 2360 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Valid ECS/CSCS Card.
- Experience working within Facilities Management or Building Services maintenance.
- Strong electrical fault-finding, testing and maintenance experience.
- Good understanding of commercial building services, including electrical systems and HVAC.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and Safe Systems of Work.
- Strong communication, customer service and IT skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Criteria
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
