About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault finding on electrical and building services systems.
• Perform inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations in accordance with current regulations.
• Undertake minor electrical installation, refurbishment and remedial works.
• Support the maintenance of HVAC and other building services plant.
• Diagnose faults and ensure plant and equipment are maintained for maximum reliability and efficiency.
• Complete maintenance records, test sheets and inspection reports accurately.
• Carry out condition-based monitoring and defect surveys, reporting findings to engineering management.
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and provide feedback to the helpdesk and customers.
• Work safely in accordance with company procedures, Safe Systems of Work and Health & Safety legislation.
• Support continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and operational excellence across the contract.

Essential Criteria

• Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 2360 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Valid ECS/CSCS Card.
• Experience working within Facilities Management or Building Services maintenance.
• Strong electrical fault-finding, testing and maintenance experience.
• Good understanding of commercial building services, including electrical systems and HVAC.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and Safe Systems of Work.
• Strong communication, customer service and IT skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Criteria

• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
