Job description
Roboze is building the Physical AI backbone for autonomous manufacturing in strategic industries.
Every era of progress has been defined by how societies build. From steel and electricity to automation and digitalization, industrial capability has always determined what nations can achieve.
Today, defense, aerospace, energy, transportation, and critical infrastructure require a new generation of manufacturing infrastructure, one that is autonomous, distributed, resilient, and qualified.
Roboze combines advanced production systems, high-performance materias, process intelligence, and autonomous manufacturing software to enable localized production of mission-critical components at industrial scale.
At Roboze, we hire the best to encourage talents to be their best, providing them with the right approach, methods, and tools to make a difference. Be a decision maker, with the growth of the entire company in mind, not just the individual team or department. Success for us is the result of the quality of daily work. Results give us the strength to grow as a company and as a group!
Position Overview: Roboze is looking for a highly strategic and execution-driven Vice President of Operations to build and scale the company’s global operational backbone. This is not a traditional manufacturing leadership role.
The VP Operations must be a transformation executive capable of scaling Roboze into a globally replicable industrial platform, ensuring operational discipline, execution reliability, supply chain resilience, manufacturing performance, customer production continuity, and global operational governance.
The role combines manufacturing operations, supply chain and procurement leadership, operational scaling, digital manufacturing, ERP-driven governance, factory operating model replication, distributed manufacturing operations, and cross-functional execution leadership.
The VP Operations will work directly with the COO and executive leadership team to build the systems, processes, governance, and operational infrastructure required to scale Roboze globally across machines, materials, distributed manufacturing partners, and customer production networks.
What your tasks will be: Manufacturing Operations & Execution
•
Lead manufacturing operations across Roboze production environments including inbound and outbound logistics process, building scalable systems to support global production growth. Improve throughput, asset utilization, lead times, delivery reliability, and operational predictability.
•
Establish strong production planning, capacity planning, shopfloor execution, and operational control processes. Reduce inefficiencies and improve coordination across production, supply chain, engineering, service, and commercial teams.
•
Create repeatable operating routines, management systems, and execution cadences across manufacturing operations, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and visibility across all operational workflows.
Operational Excellence & Governance
•
Build operational rigor, traceability, accountability, and execution discipline across the organization. Establish scalable governance frameworks, KPI systems, business reviews, and structured decision-making cadences.
•
Drive operational maturity across manufacturing, supply chain, customer operations, and distributed production environments. Ensure operational readiness to support regulated and mission-critical sectors such as Aerospace & Defense and Energy.
•
Partner with the VP Industrialization & Quality to ensure operational execution is aligned with industrial standards, quality requirements, and product/process maturity.
Supply Chain & Procurement Leadership
•
Build a resilient and scalable global supply chain infrastructure. Establish dual-sourcing strategies for critical machine and materials components, secure strategic suppliers, and implement robust forecasting, S&OP, inventory optimization, and procurement governance systems.
•
Ensure continuity and availability of materials and consumables across all production environments. Optimize the end-to-end flow of pellets, filament transformation, consumables, spare parts, and logistics.
•
Prevent customer production interruptions while avoiding excess inventory. Strengthen supplier management, supplier performance monitoring, and procurement discipline.
Materials & Consumables Operations
•
Build scalable operational models to support recurring revenue growth from materials and consumables. Improve forecasting accuracy across Business Units and RAM network demand.
•
Coordinate sourcing, inventory, production planning, and global distribution for consumables and materials. Ensure the materials business can scale as a strategic growth driver, supporting recurring revenue, customer continuity, and installed-base expansion.
•
Guarantee the availability of critical consumables across internal sites, RAM partners, and customer production environments.
Digital Manufacturing Operations & Smart Factory Systems
•
Accelerate ERP implementation and integration with manufacturing workflows. Build data-driven operations, operational visibility systems, dashboards, analytics, KPI governance, and real-time reporting.
•
Improve manufacturing costing accuracy, traceability, workflow visibility, and planning reliability. Drive smart factory initiatives from an operational execution and performance management perspective.
•
Ensure that ERP, planning, procurement, inventory, and production data become reliable tools for operational decision-making.
RAM Network & Distributed Manufacturing Operations
•
Scale and operationalize the Roboze distributed manufacturing network. Improve governance, partner enablement, production readiness, and execution consistency across RAM partners.
•
Develop replicable operational playbooks for external production partners, ensuring consistency, delivery reliability, and scalable execution across distributed sites. Create systems that enable rapid onboarding and scaling of external manufacturing partners.
•
Coordinate with technical, quality, and industrialization teams to ensure RAM partners operate according to Roboze standards.
•
Ensure customers and RAM partners receive the materials, consumables, support, spare parts, and operational readiness required to maximize production uptime. Improve customer production utilization and operational continuity across the installed base.
•
Build operational processes focused on customer success through manufacturing performance, uptime, and production reliability. Develop utilization KPIs and visibility systems across customer and RAM production environments.
•
Strengthen field operations and customer operational support infrastructure, reducing operational causes of downtime and improving responsiveness across partners and customers.
Cross-Functional Operational Leadership
•
Create strong governance and alignment between Commercial, Engineering, Product, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Service, Industrialization, Quality, and Operations.
•
Drive company-wide accountability and execution discipline. Identify operational bottlenecks, prioritization conflicts, and scaling constraints.
•
Establish operational cadences, business reviews, and KPI-driven decision-making. Partner with executive leadership on scaling strategy and industrial platform evolution.
•
Translate operational priorities into clear execution plans with owners, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
What we’re Looking For
•
The ideal candidate has 10–15+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, operational scaling, supply chain, industrial technology, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing environments.
•
They bring proven experience scaling complex industrial operations globally, with a strong track record in operational transformation and execution.
•
They have experience implementing operational governance, ERP-driven processes, KPI systems, and scalable manufacturing operations. They possess deep knowledge of supply chain, procurement, production planning, inventory management, manufacturing operations, and factory execution.
•
The successful candidate is comfortable operating in high-growth, fast-changing, execution-driven environments. They demonstrate strong executive presence, cross-functional leadership capability, and the ability to move effectively between strategic priorities and operational detail.
•
They are comfortable working directly with founders and executive leadership, bring an international mindset, and ideally have experience operating across the US and Europe.
•
They can partner effectively with Industrialization, Quality, Engineering, Product, Commercial, and Service leadership.
What we'll offer to you
•
Compensation: €60,000–€70,000 gross annual base salary + 15% MBO
