Maintenance Technician – Industrial Equipment Location: Winston-Salem, NC Company: BHS Corrugated

BHS Corrugated is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our customer’s manufacturing operation in the Winston-Salem area. If you have a strong mechanical and electrical background, enjoy solving equipment problems, and take pride in keeping production running efficiently, this could be the opportunity for you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on industrial production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot root causes to reduce downtime.
• Inspect equipment and recommend reliability improvements.
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately.
• Partner with operations and maintenance teams to support production objectives.
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with motors, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, sensors, and industrial controls.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing, packaging, paper, converting, or corrugated industry experience.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
• Familiarity with CMMS software and maintenance tracking systems.
