Job Title : Pharmacist in Charge Location : Galena, IL, 61036 (Relocation Assistance Available) Base Salary : $150,000 – $155,000 Industry : Healthcare / Health Services – Pharmacy Job Category : Medical / Health – Pharmacy

Work Shift : Monday-Friday -9:00AM-5:30PM Pharmacy will close for lunch-12:30PM-1:00PM On-Site Parking Available

Primary Role : Preparing and dispensing appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients, leading a team of pharmacy technicians and managing the overall day-to day pharmacy responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions : Review and execute provider’s prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality. Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster. Maintain full control over medication inventory, stocking and labeling medicine. Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient. Ensures that the Pharmacy and its employees are aware and compliant with local facilities policies. Responsible for the daily work of Pharmacy Technicians, this includes providing input into performance evaluations and advising Senior Management of any behavioral and/or performance issues. Responsible for managing the Pharmacy Technicians schedules.

Experience : 3 years retail pharmacy management exp. Must be able to utilize Patient Management System in the Pharmacy

Skills and Certifications : Illinois Pharmacist License. Great leadership, communication and management skills
