As a Home Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , you will provide skilled, compassionate, one-on-one care to a 7-year-old male child with cerebral palsy and epilepsy in the comfort and familiarity of his home.

About the Patient
You will be caring for a 7-year-old boy with
- Cerebral palsy
- Epilepsy (seizure disorder)
- G-tube dependence with bolus feedings throughout the day
He utilizes multiple adaptive and supportive equipment, including:
- AFOs (ankle-foot orthotics)
- Customized stroller wheelchair
- Stander
- Tumble form chair
- Benik Upsee
- Peapod chair
- Enteral feeding supplies
- Bath seat
Care will focus on safety, seizure monitoring, feeding support, mobility assistance, positioning, and overall comfort and development.

What You'll Do
As a Home Health Licensed Practical Nurse, you will
- Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and individualized pediatric care plans
- Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of neurological status, seizure activity, and overall health
- Manage and administer G-tube bolus feedings and enteral nutrition support
- Monitor for and respond to seizure activity per established care protocols
- Provide medication administration and other skilled nursing interventions
- Support safe positioning, mobility, and use of adaptive equipment (AFOs, stander, wheelchair, etc.)
- Assist with activities of daily living and comfort care
- Educate and support family members in all aspects of care, including feeding, seizure management, and equipment use
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
- Document care accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate in care planning and ongoing communication with the care team
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of New Hampshire
- Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to pediatric care
