Job Type: Seasonal / Temporary Hours: 24–40 Hours per Week Benefits: Not Eligible (Seasonal Position)

About the Role

MARTIN Technologies is seeking 2–4 Seasonal Quality Sorters to support an exciting new automotive transmission launch. This is an excellent opportunity for college students, teachers on summer break, and individuals looking for hands-on manufacturing experience in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and sort automotive components to customer quality standards.
  • Perform visual inspections to identify defects or non-conforming parts.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, and other basic measuring tools to verify part dimensions.
  • Read and follow work instructions, quality standards, and inspection criteria.
  • Separate, tag, or rework parts as directed.
  • Report quality concerns to the supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records when required.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • College students and teachers on summer break are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or quality inspection experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience using calipers and micrometers is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs. throughout the shift.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the Toledo facility.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Flexible to work varying shifts and overtime as business needs require.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
