Who We’re Looking For
As a key member of the Urology global business unit, the Urodynamicist is responsible for performing urodynamic diagnostic testing in medical facilities within an assigned geographic territory. This role involves direct patient interaction, collaboration with physicians and clinical teams, and accurate collection and reporting of diagnostic results to support patient care and treatment planning.
About the Role
- Perform urodynamic diagnostic testing procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols and best practices.
- Prepare patients for testing, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Accurately collect, document, and analyze test data.
- Compile and deliver detailed diagnostic reports to physicians in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff as needed regarding patient care.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, calibrated, and functioning properly.
- Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and infection control standards.
- Travel to assigned medical facilities within a defined territory to provide onsite services.
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding testing procedures when needed.
- Engage current client base and potential new customers on expanding or initiating Urodynamics services at their respective locations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Nurse license or approved training certificates in the applicable state.
- Clinical experience in urology, women’s health, or related specialty preferred.
- Experience performing urodynamics testing or similar diagnostic procedures highly desirable.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel regularly within assigned territory (valid driver’s license required).
