We are seeking an experienced and qualified Supervising Pharmacist to join our team. As a Supervising Pharmacist, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and leading a team of pharmacists and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the pharmacy team, including pharmacists and support staff
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and pharmacy operations
• Provide guidance and support to pharmacists and support staff on clinical and technical matters
• Review and approve prescriptions, and provide clinical advice to patients and healthcare professionals
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stock control
• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a registered pharmacist in Ireland
• Current registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and laws

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or management role in a pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with pharmacy management software and systems
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current pharmaceutical developments
