Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety, while effectively managing site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Oversee the full construction lifecycle from mobilization to handover.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved in line with contractual obligations.
• Manage day-to-day construction activities and ensure smooth site operations.
• Monitor progress, productivity, and quality of work against project schedules.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors on site.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure alignment.
• Communicate progress and key issues to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and Abu Dhabi building codes.
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to uphold high-quality standards across all activities.
• Support audits, inspections, and authority approvals as required.
• Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies and regulations on site.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across all teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure risk assessments and method statements are followed effectively.
• Monitor project costs and contribute to budget control measures.
• Review subcontractor performance and certify works for payment.
• Support resolution of contractual and commercial matters.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• 15–20 years of progressive experience in construction project execution.
• Minimum 5+ years in a managerial role overseeing large-scale projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site management, and project planning.
• Experience in UAE construction regulations and local authority requirements.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
