About The Role

Job Purpose

To ensure adherence to the BrewDog Quality Programme by coordination with Production, supporting monitoring of food safety management system and Quality Sample Plan.

Key Result Area / Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Calibration of equipment
  • Key lab analysis, beer processing checks supporting Master Technical Specification conformance
  • Non- conforming product management & escalation
  • Auditing HACCP compliance
  • Supporting investigation of customer complaints
  • Act as a key shift team member through prioritisation of key Quality activities and coordination with shift leads
  • Supporting and developing quality processes and projects - continuous improvement
  • Quality representative covering nights

  • Ensure that Health and Safety guidelines and fire regulations are strictly adhered to at all times

  • Report any accidents, incidents or near misses as soon as reasonably practicable.

  • Take part in crew reviews throughout the year

About You

Qualifications & Specific Training

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes
  • Knowledge of FSSC 22000 requirements relevant to responsibilities
  • General Cert in Brewing/ Packaging

Experience

  • Significant experience working in FMCG
  • Substantial experience of Quality Control procedures
  • Significant experience of beer processing

Knowledge

  • Understanding of FSSC 22000
  • Understanding of HACCP
  • Detailed knowledge of Brewing Processes and downstream impact of quality control non-conformance

Skills

  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Developed microbiological techniques
  • Developed analytical techniques
  • Highly developed sensory skills
