Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient clinical setting. The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic medical conditions while emphasizing preventive care and health promotion. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications in accordance with state law, providing patient education, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is committed to clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, and improving patient health outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Master's or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license/certification in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure.
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, Internal Medicine, or another appropriate primary care specialty.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
  • Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinical services preferred.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, patient education, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States. U.S. Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment requirements, including background screening, credential verification, and drug screening, if applicable.
