Job description

Dundee Hills RV Resort is a premier RV resort located in the heart of Oregon Wine Country. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and guest-focused Maintenance Technician who takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests. This position is primarily maintenance-focused with occasional housekeeping support during busy periods or staff shortages.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily upkeep, repair, and appearance of the resort, including RV sites, cottages, common areas, utilities, landscaping, and guest amenities. This position also assists the housekeeping team as needed to ensure cottages and resort facilities meet our high cleanliness standards.

General Resort Maintenance

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the property.
  • Repair plumbing fixtures, electrical components (within skill level), gates, fences, picnic tables, fire pits, and other resort equipment.
  • Inspect and maintain water, sewer, irrigation, and electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot guest utility concerns including water, sewer, and electrical connections.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on resort buildings, cottages, and equipment.
  • Keep maintenance shop organized and stocked.

Grounds & Landscaping

  • Mow, edge, weed-eat, prune, rake, blow leaves, and maintain landscaped areas.
  • Water landscaping as directed.
  • Remove debris and keep resort grounds neat and attractive.
  • Assist with seasonal landscaping projects.

RV Site Maintenance

  • Inspect sites prior to guest arrival.
  • Ensure utilities are functioning properly.
  • Clean pedestals and utility areas.
  • Replace damaged site markers or signage.
  • Assist with leveling concerns when appropriate.

Cottage Maintenance

  • Perform minor repairs.
  • Change HVAC filters.
  • Replace light bulbs.
  • Touch-up paint.
  • Inspect appliances and furniture.
  • Ensure cottages remain guest-ready.

Guest Services Support

  • Deliver propane tanks and grill kits.
  • Assist guests with basic maintenance issues.
  • Respond professionally and courteously to guest concerns.
  • Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude at all times.

Light Housekeeping (Occasional)

During high occupancy periods or when needed, assist the housekeeping team by:

  • Making beds.
  • Cleaning cottages and restrooms.
  • Restocking supplies.
  • Vacuuming and mopping.
  • Laundry assistance.
  • Preparing cottages for arriving guests.
