About Us
At Chelsea Hospitality Group we imagine and launch bold, community-centered hospitality concepts that bring people together in powerful, purposeful ways. From restaurants to cultural hubs to organizational and community experiences; everything we create is designed to spark connections, inspire belonging, and reimagine what hospitality can do for people, places, and communities.
A strong opportunity for a hospitality leader who leads with presence and serves with purpose.
Chelsea Hospitality Group is seeking a General Manager for The Maple. This private boutique inn offers refined accommodations within a quiet, well-appointed setting. Culinary-forward and thoughtfully designed, the inn blends the warmth of a private residence with the comfort of a well-run hotel. As General Manager, you will guide its operations and team culture — combining sound leadership with a genuine instinct for hospitality.
This is a role for someone who balances operational discipline with a deep commitment to service — someone who understands that great hospitality lives in the details guests never need to ask for.
This leadership position suits a hospitality professional who is equally comfortable with strategy and floor presence. You will oversee the full guest experience — from team development to culinary execution — while ensuring every guest feels at ease and well cared for.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily operations with a hands-on, service-first approach that sets the standard for your team
- Manage and develop a small, dedicated service team built around warmth, discretion, and attentive care
- Anticipate guest needs and preferences — from arrival to turn-down — and inspire the team to deliver thoughtful, personal touches
- Partner with the Executive Chef to deliver strong culinary programming across all meal periods
- Maintain the property to a high standard, front and back of house
- Serve as the primary contact for guests and key stakeholders, with professionalism and discretion
- Oversee operational planning including budgeting, vendor management, scheduling, and staffing
- Be present as a host and innkeeper — attentive but unhurried, polished yet approachable
What We Need From You
- 7+ years in hospitality, boutique hotel, or property management
- A leadership style grounded in respect, genuine care, and clear expectations
- Strong service instincts — anticipating needs before they are expressed
- Familiarity with high-touch hospitality standards and guest experience delivery
- Sound business judgment with attention to team culture, financial performance, and property care
- Self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy
- A belief that the best hospitality is quiet, consistent, and always felt
- Experience in culinary-forward hospitality or private residence management
- Familiarity with intimate-scale or exclusive-use properties
- Exposure to leading independent hotel or fine hospitality cultures
What You'll Get From Us
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience
- Comprehensive health and wellness benefits
- Paid Time Off
- An opportunity to build and shape a singular hospitality operation from the ground up
- A values-driven environment that prizes warmth, refinement, and consistent execution
