The Role

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to own and scale our marketing engine. This is a player-coach role for someone who has done this before at a healthcare SaaS company and wants to do it again, with more ownership and a faster trajectory.

You will report directly to the CEO, partner closely with sales and customer success, and lead a small team of marketing specialists (campaigns and design) that you will help grow. You will turn our market momentum into qualified pipeline and a brand that health system leaders trust.

This is an onsite role based in Dallas, TX.

What You Will Do

  • Build and run demand generation programs (digital, paid, email, ABM, and webinars) that drive qualified pipeline from health systems and provider organizations.
  • Own product marketing for our AI suite: positioning, messaging, and go-to-market for FastTrackCare, Luna, SteerNotes, Steer Studio, and RCM AI.
  • Develop content and thought leadership, including executive content, case studies, and customer stories that prove measurable ROI.
  • Plan and execute field marketing and event presence at the industry moments that matter (Becker's, HLTH, ViVE, HIMSS, and others).
  • Partner with the Sales to align marketing-sourced pipeline with revenue targets and close the loop on attribution.
  • Build and protect the Steer Health brand, ensuring a consistent voice across every channel.
  • Manage and mentor marketing specialists, and help scale the team as we grow.
  • Stand up the marketing operations foundation: martech stack, lead routing, attribution, and reporting on closed-loop ROI.
  • Support customer marketing, references, and expansion in partnership with customer success.

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, including meaningful time scaling a healthcare SaaS or health-tech company.
  • A track record of building demand generation that produced real pipeline and revenue at a high-growth SaaS business.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare buyer (health systems, hospitals, and provider groups) and the longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycle that comes with it.
  • Strong product marketing instincts: you can translate complex AI products into clear value for clinical, operational, and financial buyers.
  • A hands-on and strategic operator who thrives in an early-stage, fast-moving environment and is comfortable building as you go.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
  • Comfort with data: funnel metrics, attribution, and the martech that supports them.
  • Based in Dallas, TX, and able to work onsite.

Bonus Points

  • Experience marketing AI, automation, or agentic products.
  • Familiarity with healthcare conferences and trade media.
  • Experience at a company that scaled through a Series A or Series B.
  • Working knowledge of the EHR ecosystem (Epic, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen).
