What is Regional Head South - Cloud Sales?
Regional Head of Cloud Sales is responsible for extending technology related consultancy to Jazz's corporate customers portfolio, in line with Jazz’s strategy of transitioning from TelCo to TechCo. The incumbent will serve as a thought leader and resident expert on product questions, technical integrations, success stories, technology trends and cross-industry knowledge for the sales team and clients. This role is a key member of the Direct Sales leadership team and works closely with the Enterprise Solutions Leadership team to formulate servicing strategy and provide valuable market insights for overall organizational strategy. Role leads a direct sales team comprising of Regional Manager Core Products, Regional Manager Digital Solutions and Customer Success Manager, along with indirectly leading a team of 10-15 experienced Jazz Business Consultants and Jazz Digital Consultants, responsible for product uptake, customer engagement and revenue growth.
What does Regional Head South - Cloud Sales do?
- Grow the regional customers technology portfolios through new customer acquisition, upsell and cross-sell of Jazz Business technology products and solutions.
- Serve as a thought leader and resident expert on product questions, technical integrations, success stories, technology trends and general industry knowledge for the sales team and clients.
- Drive design and end-to-end management of existing and new capabilities like Opportunity Management, customer lifecycle, Channel and Partner Enablement, and Account Management.
- Responsible to provide inputs on revenues targets setting, market potential, customer needs, new products development, modifications to existing products, network expansion, and portfolio management.
- Translate divisional strategy into tactical plans for your region, ensuring the revenue target is tactfully distributed among respective verticals in line with the market potential.
- Apply a data-driven approach to analyze the market and determine regional revenue potential and able to derive insight from data and build an actionable strategy based on analysis.
- Drive critical sales opportunities and engagements in the enterprise space, guiding team to propose a solution, workout feasibility, and operational aspect of the proposed solution.
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders and influence successfully across organizational boundaries.
- Ensure high-quality technology consultancy for organizations, helping them grow by leveraging technology products offered by Jazz i.e. Garaj Cloud, AdTech, Precision Marketing, CPaaS, M2M/IoT, DFS, GSM and Fixed Connectivity.
- Lead the teams to identify, qualify, manage, and close sales opportunities while engaging with internal stakeholders (Pre-sales, Marketing, Operations, Service Delivery) to ensure an end-to-end service.
- Actively engage with Senior Management at client organizations to determine the solution need and ways to build strong long-term relationships.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends through personal contact with
- clients and other technology players, and attendance at industry association meetings, seminars, and trade functions.
- Ensure that the team is aligned with the vision and remains motivated to fulfil short-term targets, while always ensuring that they exhibit Jazz values and are strong ambassadors.
- Manage important KPIs other than the revenue that will set Jazz apart such as customer service, churn rate, customer retention, new product development, etc.
- Builds strong influence across the organization while having limited control (Stakeholder Management) to ensure the Sales team can collaborate cross- functionally to achieve goals.
- Participate in deal qualification calls to assess profitability, pricing, resource requirements, etc. along with other internal teams.
- Participate in market development activities, forums, customer events & conferences to propagate product portfolio and gather market intelligence/ competitors' offerings, etc.
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Regional Head South - Cloud Sales?
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in a similar role as people’s manager/leadership team, in a sales or business development team.
- Bachelors/Master's degree preferably MBA in Marketing, Management or similar relevant discipline.
- Strong hold on the industry dynamics and technology trends, exhibits entrepreneurial mindset and has unmatched business acumen.
- Prior experience in solution selling and/or engagement with system integrators will be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of the technological gap in the market, identify and target the same by leveraging our product portfolio i.e. Garaj Cloud, AdTech, Precision Marketing, CPaaS, M2M/IoT, DFS, GSM and Fixed Connectivity – or through new partnership alliances.
- Champion Jazz's digital solutions, advocating for products like Garaj Cloud, AdTech, CPaaS, and M2M/IoT in client discussions
- Demonstrated sales background in leading various strategic initiatives and has experience in managing large teams.
