ABOUT US
The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better. It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.
Maintenance Coordinator
Emergency Services, Malaga WA
Permanent full-time
Why this role matters
When disasters strike, communities rely on the strength and readiness of our emergency services. Behind every response is a team of people who make sure our vehicles start, our equipment works and our depot is ready to mobilise at a moment’s notice. This role is at the heart of that readiness.
As Maintenance Coordinator, you ensure our fleet, trailers, plant and equipment are safe, reliable and ready to support first responders and community members affected by fires, floods, storms and other emergencies. Your work directly enables our teams to show up with confidence, compassion and practical support when people need it most. This is a role where your organisation, care and attention to detail genuinely change lives.
About the role

You will support depot operations, coordinate volunteers for maintenance tasks and contribute to emergency response activities when needed. This role suits someone who enjoys hands on work, thrives in fast paced environments and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly for the benefit of others.
