About the Position
The Account Manager is the day-to-day contact on the Sales Team for a diverse book of business — primarily small to mid-size employers, with select larger, more complex accounts in the mix. You'll own the full client relationship: renewals, service, and everything in between. This is a high-activity role that rewards people who are detail-oriented, adaptable, and energized by variety. No two days look the same, and that's by design. The position is fully remote, so we're looking for someone who stays connected, communicates proactively, and holds themselves accountable without needing someone looking over their shoulder.
Key Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage renewals, service requests, and day-to-day needs across a mixed SMB book with select large group accounts
Build and maintain strong broker and employer client relationships that drive retention and referrals
Work with carrier partners, TPAs, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and accurately
Conduct enrollment meetings and attend broker/client meetings as necessary
Identify and develop cross-sell opportunities within your existing book
Stay on top of deadlines, open enrollments, and compliance details with a high degree of accuracy
Track key account and market metrics and prepare reports for management
Communicate clearly and proactively with all stakeholders -- remote doesn't mean out of reach
Stay current on industry standards and regulations related to US healthcare and renewals
Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to documentation and reporting
Support a positive, high-performing team environment through your work and attitude
Perform special tasks and assignments as needed
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field; equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Account Manager or Account Coordinator.

Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks to completion.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work and collaborate with individuals or group at all organizational levels; ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Travel Requirements:
Travel may be required for special events, and meetings, not to exceed 25%.
The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
