Overview
Navitas Credit Corp , a leading financial services firm and INC Magazine 5000 fastest-growing company , is seeking a Senior Middle Ticket Underwriter to join our Credit team. Reporting to the Chief Credit Officer, the Senior Middle Ticket Underwriter is responsible for evaluating and making credit decisions on new business transactions in alignment with Navitas’ credit policies. This role also partners closely with Sales to support deal flow while maintaining sound credit standards.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, personal credit reports, Dun & Bradstreet reports and other third party information to determine the borrower’s creditworthiness.
- Complete financial spreads and PD templates as required by Navitas’ credit policies.
- Make credit decisions on transactions within assigned credit authority and make recommendations on transactions requiring local Credit Committee approval or UCBI Bank approval.
- Correspond and interact with Sales personnel to communicate the need for additional credit information as well as communicating justification for decisions.
- Recommend changes to Navitas’ credit guidelines as needed to ensure maximum efficiency while maintaining sound credit decisions.
- Complete assignments within due dates, if applicable.
Requirements For Success
- 4-year College or University degree preferred, or 5+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills required: Excel spreadsheets
- Previous equipment leasing/loan industry experience required.
- Prior franchise lending experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent mathematical and financial modeling skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Sound judgment in complex and non-standard scenarios
- Effective communication skills, including delivering difficult decisions professionally
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage competing stakeholder needs

Pay Range
USD $68,287.00 - USD $113,209.00 /Yr.
