Bilingual Multimedia Learning Designer

Overview

Bilingual and biliterate Spanish language instructional designer.

We are hiring for a role based in the Eastern Time Zone (ET). Candidates must be able to work andinterview during ET business hours (8 AM–4:30 PM ET).

Design and develop engaging multimedia learning experiences for employees, combining instructionaldesign, video production, and Spanish-language localization. Professional arborists provide talent supportin live-action shooting, and you create multimedia using Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects and audiotools. Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to transform complexarboriculture concepts into effective learning solutions delivered through our Learning ManagementSystem (LMS).

You will play a key role in our strategic company initiative to lead the industry in excellent, scientificallygrounded tree care. This position offers a unique opportunity to advance the development of our onlinelearning paths for key roles in our company.

Responsibilities

• Analyze audience needs
• Design and develop engaging, informative, and visually compelling online learning objects andcourses for the Bartlett School of Arboriculture, including text, graphics, interactions, andsimulations
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Learning Resource Manager (initially) to plan multimediaprojects
• Collaborate with SMEs to create content and logically organize it
• Use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to develop mixed media video
• Produce and edit multimedia projects, including writing and narrating scripts in English andSpanish
• Evaluate and update media projects as needed
• Assist LD Manager and LMS Administrators with LMS administration, if needed

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree (required); degree in Graphic Design, Instructional Design, Education,Communications or a related field is preferred
• Fluency in Spanish (in speech, reading and writing) (required)
• 2+ years' instructional design experience with proficiency in Articulate Rise and Storyline courseauthoring tools (required)
• 2+ years’ experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects tools (required)
• 2+ years’ experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator tools (required)
• Linked work sample/profile (required)
• LMS administration and AI experience is preferred
