Registered Nurse Interventional Vascular Access

Department/Specialty: Venous Access

Schedule: Day shift | Full-time | 7am - 7pm

What You Will Do

• Deliver expert direct patient care promoting compassionate support, ensuring safe vascular access, and quality outcomes.
• Lead ultrasound-guided peripheral and central line insertions, supporting timely treatment plans, reducing complications, and improving patient flow across the hospital.
• Coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to evaluate complex cases, recommend appropriate venous access devices, and optimize care coordination for high-acuity patients.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Experience in the ICU, Pediatric Critical Care, and / or experience with ultrasound guided IV insertion
