Summary
Artemis is seeking a Senior Communications Marketing Strategist to plan the strategic direction and development of comprehensive marketing campaigns in support of the client’s programs and services. This role shapes campaign strategy, messaging, and audience targeting to build awareness and engagement across business-to-business and government-to-business audiences.
The Senior Communications Marketing Strategist role requires a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player with previous experience in planning and executing comprehensive business-to-business and government-to-business marketing campaigns. This position needs an individual that is committed to providing superior service, poised under pressure and has a positive and flexible attitude.
This is a contingent hire position. Offers will be contingent upon client approval, ability to meet security requirements, and the ability to adhere to any on-site requirements (which may change at contract award).
Remote work is anticipated. However, all candidates should be local to the Washington, DC metro area as on-site work may be required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Plan the strategic direction and development of comprehensive business-to-business and government-to-business marketing campaigns.
- Develop messaging frameworks and campaign strategies that align with program goals and audience needs.
- Coordinate across functional teams to ensure clear, consistent, and on-brand messaging.
- Analyze audience, market, and performance data to refine campaign approach.
- Translate program objectives into actionable marketing and outreach plans.
- Advise stakeholders on marketing strategy and emerging communications trends.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of demonstrated experience planning the strategic direction and development of comprehensive business-to-business or government-to-business marketing campaigns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in messaging frameworks, audience targeting, and campaign strategy.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance/DHS suitability determination.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Client Information
Within the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Immigration Records and Identity Services (IRIS) Directorate manages immigration information and provides verification and person centric identity services critical to components of DHS’s strategic efforts to enforce immigration laws and protect the American people. The Verification Division (VER), within IRIS, provides timely and accurate employment eligibility verification services to employers and citizenship or immigration status verification to federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial agencies. VER manages Form I-9 guidance, E-Verify, E-Verify+, and the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program. These programs support lawful employment eligibility verification and proper administration of public benefits.
