Responsibilities
Provide departmental support and lead the staff in the Household Goods department.
■ Operational Management- Facilitate client consultations and comprehensive pre-move site surveys.- Coordinate seamlessly between internal departments and external partners.- Ensure accurate data entry and meticulous management of operational records.- Strategize daily resource allocation (human capital & fleet) to optimize safety and profit margins.- Oversee regulatory compliance for customs clearance and logistics (International/US Domestic).- Full-cycle billing processes, including accounts receivable management and debt recovery.- Develop competitive pricing models and lead negotiation strategies.- Direct field staff and serve as the primary point of contact for crisis management.- Provide on-site supervision, performing high-quality packing and handling (travel required).- Operate company vans/vehicles as necessary.- Supervise warehouse flow, including loading/unloading and precise inventory counting.- Monitor team productivity, providing mentorship and performance follow-ups.■ Sales & Business Development- Perform strategic client outreach to promote services and identify market opportunities.■ Process Optimization- Analyze and resolve root causes of operational incidents (property damage, loss, or vehicle accidents).
- Lead initiatives to eliminate administrative bottlenecks and enhance customer satisfaction and data security.- Drive operational excellence by streamlining workflows and revising standardized documentation.■ Multi-tasking & Branch Support- Support diverse business lines (non-HHG) to ensure overall branch agility.Note: This job description indicates the general nature and level of the work being performed by employees in this job. Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the moving industry
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, write & speak English and Japanese fluently
- Ability to clearly communicate directions to the household goods team in a professional manner
- Ability to work overtime to meet the customer needs
- Strong customer service skills
- Good computer skills- Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience
- Ability to frequently stand, bend, twist, reach, lift, push, pull, carry heavy objects in a warehouse setting.

Will work with all levels in the organization as well as Customers and subcontractors
