What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, ATMs, and perimeter access points, with working conditions that may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity around cash handling and other restricted areas, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
