As a Security Officer Controlled Access in Weston, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a residential location, where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols to help discourage security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will provide outstanding customer service and communication to residents and guests while supporting a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit by verifying visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with property protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around residential buildings, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
- Assist with front entrance coverage, resident inquiries, and security-related reporting while helping to support orderly access throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Guard card is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
