As a Security Officer Unarmed Hospital Patrol in Pasadena, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including halls, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor direction and general information in a professional manner.
• Support healthcare location operations by communicating with staff regarding security-related issues, assisting during urgent situations, and completing required reports before the end of the shift.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
