Overview
The PI / CN team in Guildford are seeking a NQ/junior solicitor to join the team from September 2026.
Responsibilities
The role is working for one partner and one Senior Associate in the team with a caseload comprising mainly clinical negligence cases but ideally the candidate will be happy to provide some assistance on high value personal injury claims as well. The workload is likely to include assisting on several high value claims and gaining experience working alongside senior members of the team but the aim will also be to start to build up a caseload for the associate to run under supervision .
Essential & Desirable Criteria
The ideal candidate is someone keen and enthusiastic about this area of work and who wants to take on responsibility and be fully involved in case work. Key attributes needed will be communication (both internally and in a client facing role), enthusiasm to work on a number of cases and gain a wide range of experience, an ability to work in a structured fashion and flexibility. In return we can offer lots of good quality work, the opportunity for direct client contact and to build a caseload, plenty of support for training and the opportunity to work within a nationally regarded team known for their technical expertise and client focused approach.
