CV Flow Coordinator - Cath Lab

Overview

Responsible for coordinating patient flow and the delivery of patient care for patients in CV area during his/her shift, providing clinical care, as needed, serving as a liaison for patients, visitors, families, physicians, other hospital departments, and external ancillary services, communicating patient care, departmental and staff issues to the appropriate authority.

Qualifications

Education

• Associate’s Degree in health-related field Required

Work Experience

• 2 years in a clinical practice with demonstrated clinical competency in Cath lab or EP lab Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• ACLS Upon Hire Required and
• Current license/certification/registry in the profession in the State of Georgia. Qualifying credentials may be any of the following as appropriate for the area Upon Hire Required
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Registered Nurse (RN) Required or
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required or
• RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Required or
• Registered Radiologic Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist (RT-CI) Required or
• Radiologic Cardiovascular Technologist (RT-CV) Required or
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiologic Technologist (RT-R) Required or
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Required or
• NREMT - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians-Basic (Med Tech) National Registered Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (NREMT-P) Required or
• Echo Sonographer Required or
• RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Vascular Sonographer (Sonographers may be credentialed through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International) Required or
• RCEP - Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist Certification Exercise physiologist Required or
