Responsibilities
Performs all secretarial duties including typing, copying, filing, messages and desktop publishing.
- All correspondence is created and responded to in a complete and timely manner.
- Mail sorted and distributed upon receipt.
- Menu’s are created and printed 48 hours in advance.
- Files are maintained in an easy to access manner and updated regularly.
Maintains and updates resident menu files in Geri-Menu. Prints meal tickets, tallies and nourishment labels.
- Meal tickets are printed based on food preference taken off of the weekly menu filled out by the resident.
- Diet change order forms are retrieved from nursing unit’s daily and changes updated in Geri-Menu in a timely fashion.
- Processes diet cards and labels as needed.
Verifies and edits timecards or schedules to record absences, vacation in preparation for bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Maintain and excellent level of knowledge of Kronos functionality.
- Late and Absence reports/audits are conducted on a bi-weekly basis.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1 to 2 years experience in a clerical position requiring strong computer and customer service skills. Timekeeper knowledge in healthcare.
Proficient Microsoft word, excel, outlook PowerPoint and e-mail skills.Must be familiar with general office equipment.
