Job Description/Responsibilities
The Operations Supply Chain Planner supporting BuzzBallz is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of all raw materials and packaging components required to support beverage production at internal & external manufacturing facilities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining service levels, minimizing production disruptions, and optimizing inventory across a complex, multi-site supply chain. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing high-SKU, high-velocity consumer packaged goods (CPG), preferably in beverages including alcohol ready-to-drinks.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers and manufacturing partners, ensuring timely material availability to support production schedules.
- Manage and optimize inventory of packaging materials and ingredients across warehouses and internal/external manufacturing facilities, maintaining appropriate stock levels and supply continuity.
- Monitor inventory aging, shelf-life requirements, lot traceability, and material quality, partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve holds, shortages, delays, and non-conforming materials.
- Support new product launches, packaging changes, and product reformulations by coordinating material readiness and mitigating supply risks.
- Leverage ERP/MRP systems and data analysis to forecast material needs, assess supply constraints, identify optimization opportunities, and align material availability with production plans, promotions, and business growth objectives.
Qualifications/Requirements
Required
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business, or related field
- 3-7 years of experience in materials planning, supply planning, or inventory management in CPG or beverage manufacturing
- Knowledge of beverage supply chains, including packaging components and liquid supply and managing packaging components with varying lead times
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., sap, oracle) and advanced Excel skills
Preferred
- Exposure to high-growth or startup beverage brands - alcohol/spirits industry experience a plus
- Familiarity with regulatory considerations for alcohol beverages

The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 - $105,000 . Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal pay equity considerations.
