Program Manager – Adults Supervised Apartments (Voorhees, NJ) Company: Bancroft
Program: Adult Residential BI Salary Range: $58,323.00 – $59,508.00
Bancroft is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Manager to lead operations within a supervised apartment program in Voorhees, NJ, supporting individuals with neurological disabilities. This role is ideal for a mission-driven professional who is passionate about rehabilitation, therapeutic support, and enhancing quality of life.
As a Program Manager, you will oversee daily program operations, supervise and develop staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care. You will play a key role in coordinating rehabilitation and therapy-focused services, promoting independence, and fostering a safe, structured, and supportive living environment for residents.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in residential or community-based services, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to empowering individuals to achieve their highest level of independence and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise program staff, ensuring quality service delivery, compliance, and professional development.
- Oversee daily program operations, staffing, budgeting, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate individualized service plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and community partners.
- Support recruitment, hiring, training, and performance management of employees.
- Maintain a safe, person-centered environment while advocating for the rights, independence, and well-being of individuals served.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping, quality assurance, and adherence to state, federal, and accreditation standards.
- Provide direct support as needed and contribute to ongoing program improvement and organizational success.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
An incumbent in this position who has graduated from an accredited college with a BA in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech/Language Pathology, Social Work, Recreation, Art, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Nutrition, Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, or Psychology AND possesses at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or brain injuries.
High School diploma or equivalent required with two-three years in the Human Services or related field. Prior management experience and a strong desire to work with neurologically-challenged individuals. BA in a related field plus one year of related experience preferred.
Brain Injury/BIS Day Treatment Program Managers are required to achieve certification from the American Academy for the Certification of Brain Injury Specialists (AACBIS) within the first 18 months of employment, and maintain ongoing annual certification requirements.
