Qualifications

You Have

• Experience leading a team of 10 or more software engineers, system engineers, and data scientists
• Experience interfacing and managing the expectations of the customer
• Experience with creating requirements, decomposed tasks, schedules, and milestones from high level tasks
• Experience with tools like Maven, Git, JIRA, NPM, Docker, and Linux to ensure efficient development and version control processes
• Ability to utilize knowledge of big data, batch/streaming analytic methodologies, and MapReduce or Portable MapReduce frameworks to optimize performance and scalability
• Ability to evaluate and suggest optimizations of code in Java, Python, and Typescript to handle large volumes of data
• TS/SCI with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED and 25+ years of experience in systems engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science (CS), Information Systems (IS), Engineering, Science, or Engineering Management and 20+ years of experience in systems engineering

Nice If You Have

• Experience with Lucene based search tools like Elastic or AWS OpenSearch
• Experience with backend JavaScript/TypeScript technologies like Node.js or Nest.js
• Knowledge of AI/ML methodologies like Supervised Machine Learning or Reinforcement Learning

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance with a polygraph is required.

Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $91.34 to $110.58 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch’s total compensation package for employees.
