LOCAL CDL DRIVER

Overview

As a CDL Driver , you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay

$28.00/hr. - $28.50/hr.

Shift(s)

1st shift Start time 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM up to 14 hours Daily or 60 hours weekly

2nd shift Start time 10:00 AM up to 14 hours Daily or 60 hours weekly

What You'll Do

•

Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

•

Deliver and pick up trailers within (150 of miles) making about (1-6 routes daily) routes per shift

•

Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for (10-14 hours) shifts

What You'll Need

•

1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

•

Must be at least 23 years of age or older

•

Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

•

Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

•

No record of being disqualified to drive

•

Successful completion of a DOT road test

•

PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

•

No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

•

Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently

Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a vehicle cab for entire shifts of varying lengths in time

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
