Resumen
This position supports financial planning, inventory accuracy, standard cost maintenance, variance analysis, and operational decision-making to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Responsabilidades
Mains Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing costs, labor, overhead, and material variances.
- Prepare and maintain standard cost structures for products and manufacturing processes.
- Monitor inventory transactions and support cycle count and physical inventory activities.
- Review BOMs (Bill of Materials) and routing accuracy within the ERP system.
- Perform monthly closing activities related to cost accounting.
- Prepare cost reports, financial analyses, and management presentations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities for manufacturing operations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support operational efficiency initiatives.
- Validate purchase price variances and manufacturing performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and maquiladora regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial and operational processes.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation and analysis.
- Assist in fixed asset tracking and capitalization processes when required.
- Generate KPI reports related to production costs, scrap, labor efficiency, and inventory accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Cost Accounting or Finance within a manufacturing/maquiladora environment.
- Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory control, and variance analysis.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
- Knowledge of maquiladora operations, IMMEX processes, and manufacturing environments preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency preferred.
