Resumen

This position supports financial planning, inventory accuracy, standard cost maintenance, variance analysis, and operational decision-making to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Responsabilidades

Mains Responsibilities

  • Analyze manufacturing costs, labor, overhead, and material variances.
  • Prepare and maintain standard cost structures for products and manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor inventory transactions and support cycle count and physical inventory activities.
  • Review BOMs (Bill of Materials) and routing accuracy within the ERP system.
  • Perform monthly closing activities related to cost accounting.
  • Prepare cost reports, financial analyses, and management presentations.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities for manufacturing operations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Validate purchase price variances and manufacturing performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and maquiladora regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial and operational processes.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation and analysis.
  • Assist in fixed asset tracking and capitalization processes when required.
  • Generate KPI reports related to production costs, scrap, labor efficiency, and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Cost Accounting or Finance within a manufacturing/maquiladora environment.
  • Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory control, and variance analysis.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Knowledge of maquiladora operations, IMMEX processes, and manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency preferred.
