Technical Compliance Analyst

Overview

The Technical Compliance Analyst supports the organization's adherence to technical regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. The role involves assisting in monitoring compliance, supporting audits, managing regulatory risks, and ensuring product delivery to regulated markets aligns with legal and technical frameworks. This position provides vital support to the Technical Compliance team through research, documentation, and assisting with key projects, while building a foundational understanding of technical regulations and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Assessing the impact and supporting implementation of regulatory required technical solutions
• Assist senior team members in evaluating the impact of new regulations on the technical infrastructure.
• Provide support during the implementation of required technical solutions, including gathering information and preparing documentation .
• Supporting Internal and External Audits
• Assist with preparing documentation and organizing materials needed for internal and external audits.
• Participate in routine audit support tasks, such as logging findings, tracking corrective actions, and preparing follow-up documentation.
• Monitoring Compliance and Reporting
• Assist in monitoring compliance metrics and tracking regulatory changes under the guidance of senior colleagues.
• Contribute to basic compliance reports, ensuring accuracy in data collection and escalating issues to the appropriate team members when necessary.
• Maintaining Compliance Policies and Documentation
• Help maintain the central compliance documentation repository, ensuring all records are up to date and easily accessible.
• Assist with routine updates to compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements.
• Supporting Risk Identification and Mitigation
• Log and track routine regulatory risks as identified by senior team members.
• Assist in implementing standard risk mitigation processes under direction, ensuring compliance risks are monitored and addressed as needed.
• Supporting Compliance Training Initiatives
• Assist in the organization and coordination of compliance training sessions, including preparing materials and scheduling meetings.
• Provide support in the creation of compliance training content, such as presentations or informational guides.
• Contributing to New Market Research
• Conduct research on regulatory requirements for new or potential markets, compiling information to support senior team members.
• Assist in the initial stages of compliance product development for new markets under close supervision.
• Keeping abreast of relevant gaming legislation and compliance changes and advising on any potential impact
• Monitor updates to gaming legislation, summarizing key changes for the team.
• Assist in preparing impact assessments and action plans in collaboration with senior team members.
• General and Ad Hoc Support
• Provide general support to the Technical Compliance team on various ad hoc compliance projects or queries as assigned by senior staff.
• Assist with daily administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, taking notes, and maintaining compliance task lists.
• Assist with research and coordination for ad hoc compliance-related tasks.
• Assisting the business and Technical Compliance Manager with ad hoc projects and queries
• Provide administrative and analytical support on various projects as requested by the Technical Compliance Manager.
• Assist with research and coordination for ad hoc compliance-related tasks.
• Contribute to Promoting Compliance Culture within the business

• Help in promoting a compliance-conscious culture by participating in internal campaigns, training sessions, and awareness initiatives.
• Contribute to the communication of compliance messages through email updates, newsletters, or team meetings.

Qualifications

Qualification in Law or Commerce

Certifications such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, or CISA

0-3 years in a Compliance role
