Why this role matters
As a Site Project Planner, you will play an important role in ensuring that construction activities are effectively planned, monitored, and coordinated to support successful project delivery. You will work closely with project teams and contractors to track progress, identify risks, maintain project schedules, and provide critical reporting that enables informed decision-making. This is a role for someone who wants to combine technical planning expertise with purpose, learn in a fast-moving international business, and build experience in one of the world’s most relevant industries.
What you'll be doing
In this role, you will
- Support the development and maintenance of the overall project master schedule and work breakdown structure.
- Review contractor planning packages, including baseline schedules, manpower plans, machinery histograms, and S-curves.
- Monitor and analyse construction progress against project plans and identify schedule deviations.
- Coordinate schedule inputs from multiple contractors and integrate them into the master programme.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports and KPI dashboards.
- Assist with critical path analysis, milestone tracking, and extension of time (EoT) evaluations.
- Communicate upcoming activities and planning requirements across project teams.
- Support project reporting requirements for internal stakeholders and clients.
Your work will support real decisions, real assets, and real operational outcomes.
What you'll gain
- Professional growth through ownership, exposure, and meaningful contribution from day one.
- Hands-on experience in a role where the challenge is energising, fast-moving, meaningful, and built on learning through doing.
- Exposure to large-scale renewable energy construction projects, including solar plants, substations, and high-voltage infrastructure.
- Opportunity to work alongside experienced project professionals in a diverse and international environment.
What you'll bring
- Formal Technical Qualification in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of project planning and scheduling experience within procurement and construction projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong understanding of construction planning methodologies, reporting, and progress measurement.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural project teams.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written (additional languages will be advantageous).
